SIA “Saint-Tech” (hereinafter Saint-Tech) takes the security of your data very seriously and has developed a policy and a data protection system that includes technical and organisational measures to ensure that your privacy is preserved.

SIA “Saint-Tech” (hereinafter Saint-Tech) is committed to protecting your privacy in the recruitment process. It is important that “Saint-Tech” informs you about the processing of your personal data carried out by “Saint-Tech”, thus ensuring that this process is transparent and understandable. In this case, the purpose of the processing of your data by “Saint-Tech” is the recruitment process, including internship placements. This recruitment policy explains our data processing practices and your choices regarding how your data is collected and used.
This recruitment policy regarding your personal data is based on the provisions of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016. 2016/679 (hereinafter – the Regulation) and the Law on the Protection of Natural Persons’ Data, as well as other relevant, applicable sectoral legislation in force.

WHAT DATA DOES “Saint-Tech” PROCESS?
During the recruitment process, “Saint-Tech” processes the information obtained in the following situations:
- When you apply for a vacancy: “Saint-Tech” processes all of your CV, cover letter and other information provided in the documents attached to the application.
- When you apply for an internship at “Saint-Tech”: “Saint-Tech” processes all the information included in your internship application.
- If you apply for another vacancy at “Saint-Tech”: “Saint-Tech” processes the information you provide even if no specific vacancy is available at that time.
- The information you provide may be processed during interviews or any other communication with “Saint-Tech” during the selection process.
- If “Saint-Tech” contacts you in cooperation with a recruitment company or specialist, or on the basis of professional information available in your profile on widely used job and career portals or databases, such as LinkedIn, CV Online, or on the basis of a recommendation.
- If “Saint-Tech” receives an application from an employment promotion organisation as part of a cooperation, for example within an EU-funded project of the State Employment Agency (Nodarbinātības valsts aģentūra).
- Information provided during practical exercises.
- References about you from the persons you name.
- Any other information you provide to “Saint-Tech” in order to apply for a job or internship.
“Saint-Tech” does not ask for special categories of personal data (data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, genetic or biometric data, data concerning health, or data concerning a person’s sex life or sexual orientation). However, if you choose to provide such information, “Saint-Tech” will process it in accordance with this privacy policy.
In some cases, where reasonably necessary, “Saint-Tech” may look for information about you, such as your skills, experience, qualifications or other publicly available information on social networks such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, etc.
PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING
“Saint-Tech” processes the information provided in order to evaluate applications, select the candidate best suited to the position and, where necessary, protect its legal interests. “Saint-Tech” processes your personal data in accordance with applicable law, and the processing has a legal basis.
