3B MICROanatomy Human Tongue Model

The latest addition to the 3B MICROanatomy series, this tongue model combines several enlargements of specific parts of the tongue in a single presentation. It comprises a life-size macroscopic view of the tongue (dorsal aspect) together with microscopic views of the various papillae (10–20x life-size) and of a taste bud (approx. 450x life-size). All views are mounted on a base that also provides an overview of the sensory and sensitive innervation of the tongue, making it a unique model for in-depth study.
