Advanced Airway Larry Trainer Head

An advanced airway-management trainer head that simulates a non-anaesthetised patient for practising intubation, ventilation and suction techniques. In addition to the features of the standard model, it reproduces tongue swelling and laryngospasm, presenting students with the added challenges they meet in real practice. Realistic anatomy and landmarks — teeth, tongue, oral and nasal pharynx, larynx, epiglottis, vocal cords, trachea, lungs and oesophagus — allow oral, digital and nasal intubation as well as the insertion of E.T., E.O.A., P.T.L., L.M.A., Combitube® and KING System airways. Applying pressure to the cricoid cartilage closes the oesophagus for realistic practice of the Sellick manoeuvre, and the head attaches to the adult CRiSis™ manikins.
