Auxiliary Coil for Crossed Magnetic Fields in the Perrin Tube

This air-core auxiliary coil creates a magnetic field perpendicular to the tube axis. Used with D or S Helmholtz coils and Perrin tubes, it produces two orthogonal magnetic fields for demonstrating principles of the cathode-ray oscilloscope. It has 1000 turns, 4 mm connections and a short-term maximum current of 2 A.
