Compass, Silva Field

A classic, compact Silva compass with an updated design and a full 360° scale. Similar to the Silva Ranger but without the built-in magnifier, it offers reliable direction-finding with clear degree graduations on a transparent baseplate and is easy to handle in the field for pupils and nature enthusiasts alike. It suits orienteering exercises, route planning, map-and-compass work and field work in geography and biology, where pupils read a heading, follow bearings and relate observations in the landscape to map coordinates, and it also makes a good scouting compass.
