An exceptionally detailed replica of the human skull with a removable skullcap and a mid-sagittally divided base of skull. Flaps at the frontal sinus, perpendicular lamina and vomer open to reveal the lateral nasal wall and sphenoidal sinus, while the left temporal bone can be removed and folded up at the tympanic membrane. The maxilla and mandible open to expose the alveolar nerves, and on the right the temporal bone opens onto the sigmoid sinus, facial nerve canal and semicircular ducts. Further flaps at the maxillary sinus and the right half of the mandible reveal the roots of the lower premolars and molars; with a natural occlusion and individually removable teeth, the model is especially valuable for dental teaching.
