Diode S
This highly evacuated diode tube has a pure tungsten heated filament cathode and circular metal plate anode in a clear glass bulb. It supports experiments on the Edison–Richardson effect, thermionic emission, diode characteristics, space charge, the Schottky–Langmuir law and rectification. Maximum filament voltage is 7.5 V AC/DC and maximum anode voltage is 500 V.
