Dual-Beam Tube, Type D
This low-pressure neon-filled electron tube has axial and perpendicular electron guns with a common deflector plate. Electron paths appear as fine orange beams. It supports determining the specific electron charge e/m from tangential injection in a perpendicular magnetic field and observing a spiral path from axial injection in a coaxial field.
