Electric Calorimeter with Heating Coil, 1200 ml

A calorimeter for determining specific heat capacities, conversion energies and mixing temperatures, and for measuring the electrical equivalent of heat. It consists of a double-walled, heat-insulating plastic container with a reflective inner glass vessel, a heating coil and a stirrer, plus a lid with an opening for a thermometer and two 4 mm plugs for connecting the heating-coil power supply. The heating coil can be removed from the lid when required, and plastic nets are included for safely loading samples. The insulated container holds about 1200 ml; the maximum heater voltage is 25 V for a heating power of approximately 160 W.
