Water quality analysis
Electronic TDS meter (total dissolved solids), FT34
Without requiring additional reagents (tablets, drops, etc.), electronic meters offer a thoroughly professional way to measure various water parameters, such as conductivity, salinity (total dissolved solids) and pH value. The measured value is displayed on the device within seconds of dipping it into the sample liquid. The sensitive electrodes, however, should always be kept moist. They should be calibrated at regular intervals, preferably before each measurement, using a reference solution. Both the batteries and the electrodes are replaceable. The working range of the electronic meter is 0–50 °C; depending on the model, temperature compensation can be applied when determining the measured value.
