Composition & component analysis
Fibre extractor, F-6P
Reliable, versatile and economical fibre extraction system for efficient analysis of crude fibre and detergent fibre fractions.
The fibre extractor is optimized for determining crude, acid and neutral fibre, as well as other fractions such as cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin, according to the universally recognized official Weende and Van Soest methods.
Its flexibility to analyse a wide range of samples by sequential or individual extraction, including boiling and filtration steps, makes this hot fibre extractor suitable for multiple applications. Its design ensures accurate and precise results in accordance with the international standards AOAC, AACC and ISO.
The main applications include determination of crude fibre by the Weende method, acid detergent fibre (ADF) and neutral detergent fibre (NDF) by the Van Soest method, and acid detergent lignin (ADL) analysis. Used together with the EF-6P cold fat extractor, it provides a complete solution for pre-degreasing samples with high fat content and for extracting organic solutes.
- Faster extractions thanks to air compressor and peristaltic pump
- In accordance with the official Weende and Van Soest methods
- Extraction and filtration without sample transfer
