Franck-Hertz Experiment
As early as 1914, James Franck and Gustav Hertz observed during their investigations that electrons passing through mercury vapour lose energy in distinct steps, accompanied by a corresponding emission at the ultraviolet line of mercury.
Included in the kit:
- 1× Franck-Hertz Tube Enclosure with Argon Tube (SE-9650)
- 1× DC Power Supply I (Constant Voltage) (SE-6615)
- 1× DC Power Supply II (Constant Voltage) (SE-9644)
- 1× DC Current Amplifier (SE-6621)
