Gyroscope for Quantitative Study of Gyroscopic Laws

This precision gyroscope is suitable for demonstrations and quantitative experiments on moment of inertia, torque, angular momentum, precession and nutation. Its double-ball-bearing disc rotates on an axis with adjustable counterweights and an additional mass for external torque. A tilt scale, spirit level and open construction support clear observation; disc diameter is 250 mm and disc mass is 1500 g.
