Helium-Filled Triode S
This partial-vacuum gas triode is filled with helium and contains a tungsten filament cathode, circular anode and wire grid. It supports experiments on gas discharge, positive charge carriers, thyratron IA–UA characteristics, self-sustaining and non-self-sustaining discharge, and a simplified Franck–Hertz experiment. Maximum anode voltage is 400 V DC.
