Helmholtz Coil Pair for Type S Electron Tubes
This pair of air-core coils generates uniform magnetic fields for deflecting electron beams in Type S electron tubes. Mounted on the S tube holder, they can be set in Helmholtz configuration or at variable separation, perpendicular or coaxial to the tube axis. Each coil has 320 turns, an approximate diameter of 136 mm, 4 mm safety sockets and a continuous maximum current of 1.0 A.
