Human Nose Model with Paranasal Sinuses, 5 part

Shown in the upper right half of a face at 1.5 times life size, this model illustrates the structure of the nose together with the paranasal sinuses. Colour-differentiated and visible through the removable transparent skin, it displays the outer nasal cartilages and the nasal cavity with the maxillary, frontal and ethmoid sinuses; removing the zygomatic arch opens the maxillary sinus. The median section reveals the mucosa-lined nasal cavity with removable nasal conchae, the arteries of the mucous membrane, the olfactory nerves and the innervation of the lateral nasal wall, the conchae and the palate, making it a detailed teaching tool for nasal anatomy.
