Infrared thermometer measures surface temperature in fractions of a second and responds faster than conventional contact thermometers. Hot or moving objects and hard-to-reach points can be measured from a safe distance. The targeting laser indicates the measurement area; the distance-to-spot ratio defines the spot size at a given distance. Save a reading as the reference value and use the slide switch to set the maximum allowed deviation for the LED alarm. Above or below the limits, automatic colour changes allow quick assessment of points requiring sealing or insulation.
