Luminescence Tube S

This highly evacuated tube contains an electron gun with a tungsten filament and a screen with three mica flags coated in different phosphors. It demonstrates cathodoluminescence from electron excitation, photoluminescence from ultraviolet excitation, phosphorescence and quenching. Filament voltage is 6.3 V AC/DC and maximum anode voltage is approximately 5000 V DC.
