Microwave Optics System, 9.4 GHz
Microwave optics system for wave-optics experiments at centimetre wavelengths, including propagation, reflection, absorption, transmission, polarisation, refraction, diffraction, interference and information transfer. A horn-antenna transmitter produces a narrow beam of linearly polarised waves; a receiver and probe detect the signal. The control unit provides an output voltage proportional to signal intensity and an optional acoustic signal.
