Ninja Balls

A set for demonstrating momentum transfer in a simple, strikingly visual way. Dropped from a low height, the balls pass their kinetic energy up the stack so that the top ball bounces markedly higher than its starting point. The set contains five balls together with a pair of plastic safety glasses, which should be worn during the experiment. In physics lessons it is ideal for investigating the conservation of momentum and energy, showing clearly how these quantities transfer between objects and how they are shared differently depending on mass and contact.
