This manikin trains correct hand placement and effective abdominal thrusts for airway obstruction in older, heavier or pregnant adults. Its body shape reflects the limited palpable landmarks found in overweight adults, with the rib cage obscured by excess tissue. When the procedure is performed correctly, the manikin expels the obstruction; a soft carry bag is included.
