High-torque digital overhead stirrer specialised in medium to high viscosity materials, for batches of up to 100 litres, viscosities up to 200,000 mPas and 700 Ncm of torque. A brushless high-capacity DC motor with 2.6:1 / 14:1 gearing gives highly efficient stirring with precise speed control from 50 to 2,000 rpm, minimal speed fluctuation and low maintenance costs. The stirrer height is adjustable and the shaft (Ø 10 mm or less) can be fed straight through, so it is raised or lowered without moving the motor head. Operation runs through a large digital LCD and jog-dial control; an optional digital remote control with a K-type temperature probe displays torque (Ncm), viscosity (mPas) and temperature (°C) in real time.
