Digital high-torque overhead stirrer with an external control unit, for all laboratory mixing tasks from light aqueous solutions through to highly viscous liquids and for applications where remote operation is required. Models cover batches of up to 40 or 60 litres and viscosities up to 60,000 or 90,000 mPas, driven by worm gear motors with a 3.5:1 ratio at 50–1,000 rpm, with soft start-up and speed changes during operation. The digital LCD sits on the remote control, which uses a jog-shuttle knob and stores timer and speed settings; the stirrer height is adjustable and the chuck is chrome-plated stainless steel. Safety features include a 99 h 59 min timer with end signal, error status, lock mode, overload and overheating protection and an LED operating indicator. CE certified with serial-number traceability.
