Parallel-Plate Capacitor, Type D

This parallel-plate capacitor is used to investigate the relationship between charge and voltage, capacitance as a function of plate spacing, dielectric constant ε, and vacuum permittivity ε₀. Plate spacing is finely adjustable and can be read to 0.1 mm; the plates can be adjusted via a spindle.
