Planck’s Constant Apparatus
This compact apparatus determines Planck’s constant and the electron work function by the stopping-potential method. It integrates a photocell, voltmeter and nanoammeter, and uses five LEDs with mean wavelengths of 472, 505, 525, 588 and 611 nm as variable-intensity light sources. Supplied with the base unit, five cased LEDs and a 12 V AC plug-in power supply; mains voltage 230 V ±10%, 50/60 Hz.
