Plasma Ball, Small, with USB Plug

A small evacuated glass sphere containing a little noble gas, powered by a built-in Tesla coil that produces a high voltage at very low current. The result is a continuous stream of discharges resembling countless tiny lightning bolts — hence the name lightning ball — that follow a fingertip placed on the glass. The magnetic field outside the sphere is very low and poses no health risk. Hold a small fluorescent tube or energy-saving bulb close to the ball and it will light up, to great fascination. Connects via USB.
