Plate Capacitor S

This steel plate capacitor is used to investigate the relationship between charge, voltage and capacitance, and to determine dielectric and electric-field constants. It has a fixed plate and a movable plate on a guide rail, with a centimetre scale for reading the plate spacing. Four dielectric sample plates of acrylic, Bakelite, plywood and cardboard are included.
