Power Supply, 0–6000 V DC
This power supply provides stabilised DC voltage, continuously adjustable from 0 to 6 kV, with a built-in series resistor limiting the short-circuit current to 2 mA. The voltmeter shows the actual output voltage under load. It also provides 6.3 V AC, commonly used as filament voltage for discharge tubes.
