Projectile Launcher

Experimental apparatus for quantitative investigation of vertical, horizontal and angled projectile motion, trajectories, ranges, launch speeds, and elastic and inelastic collisions. It provides three reproducible launch speeds, continuously adjustable launch angles and a launch point coinciding with the pivot point; enclosed construction and spherical plastic projectiles support safe experiments. At 45°, ranges are 1.1 m, 2.3 m and 4.5 m; the set includes the launcher, three 25 mm, 7 g plastic balls, a ramrod and an M8 × 20 wing nut.
