Rat Brain, Comparative Anatomy Model

The C29 model shows a rat brain enlarged approximately six times. Sectioned medially, it separates into two halves: the right half displays the cerebrum, cerebellum and brain stem — each colour-coded for teaching (cerebrum pink, cerebellum blue, brain stem yellow) both externally and in median section — while the largely transparent left half reveals the colour-coded left lateral ventricle and hippocampus. For comparison, the base carries a natural cast of a rat brain and a small didactic illustration of the human brain in median section, using the same colour coding for the corresponding regions.
