Release Mechanism

Accessory for air track 195050 that releases air-track carts in a controlled, repeatable manner. It comprises a 1,600-turn coil, iron core, thumb screw and armature; a 12 V, 0.5 A DC power supply is required. It can release a cart from rest or, with an elastic fork, with an initial velocity.
