Rotating Induction Coil

Flat coil in a plexiglass frame, designed for use with 300 mm Helmholtz coils. Rotating the coil in the Helmholtz coils’ magnetic field induces an alternating voltage; sliding contacts provide the electrical connection. A hand crank and pulley drive the coil, while the Helmholtz coils are not included.
