Student Kit: Higher-Level Radioactivity

This set provides apparatus for ten basic student experiments on radioactivity in a robust plastic tray with moulded foam inserts and a transparent lid. The experiments cover background radiation, count rates, statistical distribution of pulses, equivalent dose, radiation range and absorption, magnetic deflection of alpha and beta radiation, and the inverse-square law. Comprehensive student and instructor experiment descriptions are included; Geiger counter 1002722 is recommended but not included.
