Superconductor Meissner Effect Kit

This set demonstrates the Meissner effect: the expulsion of a magnetic field by a superconductor below its critical temperature. It includes a YBaCuO high-temperature superconductor, a polystyrene insulating cup, a small neodymium magnet, an HTSC disc, tweezers and handling instructions for liquid nitrogen. Good ventilation is required when working with liquid nitrogen.
