The P 1655 measures AC and DC currents up to 1500 A with a current clamp for cable diameters up to 55 mm. Its 40,000-count display gives a particularly fine reading, with a basic DC voltage accuracy of 0.1%. Besides the wide AC and DC current ranges, it offers extensive multimeter functions for voltage, resistance, frequency, capacitance and temperature measurement, as well as continuity testing with an audible signal and diode testing. Special functions include fast inrush current measurement (Inrush), peak value capture (Peak) and a non-contact voltage indicator (NCV). Current and voltage are measured as true RMS values, so readings are correct even for waveforms that deviate from a sine wave. Designed for daily use in trade and industry.
