True RMS power clamp meter, 1000 A AC/DC, P 1640

The P 1640 works as a DC or AC current clamp up to 1000 A and, as a special function, also measures the power consumed in single-phase networks: when a current-carrying conductor is passed through the jaws and the test probes are connected to the corresponding voltage source at the same time, the power consumption is displayed in kW. Because only single conductors are passed through the jaws and no electrical connections have to be disconnected, the clamp is well suited to contact-free current measurement in electrical systems and control cabinets. It also has extensive multimeter functions for voltage, resistance and frequency measurement, as well as continuity testing with an audible signal and diode testing. Measurements are made as true RMS values. Suitable for electronics engineers, service technicians and industrial users.
