WGD20 Portable Gel Documentation System with Camera and Software

Compact, portable gel documentation system for DNA and RNA gel imaging and analysis, and the most cost-effective system in the range. A large, high-precision lens with zoom, focus and aperture control works with a digital 10-bit CCD camera (1360 x 1024, 1.5 MP) for 8-bit greyscale capture inside a portable darkroom, and existing transilluminators can be reused. A USB 2.0 interface transfers live images and data straight to the PC and also powers the unit. WiseCapture II™ software for fast viewing, capture and storage of gel images is included; the WGD-20S version adds TotalLab™ Quant with automatic and manual lane detection, background subtraction, fully automatic band detection, molecular size / pI calibration, quantity calibration and normalisation.
