Microwave synthesis workstation, MAS-II Plus
CE
Multifunctional microwave chemistry reaction platform for synthesis and extraction, suited to a wide range of experiment plans, with straightforward, user-friendly operation. Widely used in organic synthesis, pharmaceutical chemistry, organic extraction, food science, analytical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, protein research, petrochemistry and materials chemistry, it offers a versatile reaction platform with advantages over conventional heating.
- Patented dual-channel temperature detection (DTD): temperature is measured with a Pt100 sensor or by non-contact infrared; the system selects the measurement mode automatically according to the test, for safe and reliable work in an organic solvent atmosphere. Infrared 0–900 °C, ±1 °C; Pt100 0–300 °C, ±1 °C
- Closed-loop PID control with inverter technology adjusts the microwave power (0–1000 W) automatically to the temperature program; continuous, non-pulsed microwave heating gives uniform, reproducible reaction products
- Robust industrial-grade cavity: large-capacity stainless steel with a multi-layer chemically resistant Teflon coating, built for long-term use in harsh chemical environments
- All cavity openings are safe for the operator; microwave leakage is far below the standard limit; CE certified
- Corrosion-resistant high-power exhaust fan, 5.8 m³/min, for fast cooling
- Two stirring modes, switchable at any time to suit the reaction substrate, with continuously adjustable, displayed speed: magnetic stirring 30–1600 rpm (stepless) for ordinary solution reactions; digital mechanical paddle stirring 30–1700 rpm (stepless), clockwise or anticlockwise, for high-viscosity liquids
- Standard configuration includes reaction vessels with standard connections (50–1000 ml), an inert protective gas inlet and accessories for reflux condensation, dropwise addition and water separation during the reaction
- Maximum operating temperature 300 °C in standard configuration; theoretical maximum 900 °C with a customised reaction vessel and cavity
- 50 built-in reaction programs that can be freely set, edited and saved; every reaction parameter (scheme, step, temperature, time, power, etc.) is displayed and controlled, and the reaction temperature is plotted against time in real time
- Software for displaying, recording, recalling and saving reaction procedures
- Camera inside the cavity and external 7-inch colour TFT LCD monitor for observing the reaction as it happens
