Non-contact magnetic field tester, P 1010

P 1010 is a pen-shaped tester for magnetic fields and coil operation, for example in relays and solenoid valves. Non-contact detection generally avoids the need to open the housing. The probe tip lights continuously blue when a magnetic field is detected; for pulsed relays, it follows the relay control cycle. The included permanent test magnet allows the detector function to be checked before each measurement.
