3-phase motor rotation indicator, LED display, P 2525

Rotation indicators are essential for the electrical installation of three-phase motors. The P 2525 offers two ways of indicating the direction of rotation. In normal use, the test leads are connected to the live terminals and an R/L indication shows the direction in which the motor will rotate. The instrument can also determine, without contact, the direction of rotation of motors that are switched off or not connected: place the switched-on instrument on the motor parallel to its longitudinal axis, without test leads, and turn the motor shaft; the instrument then shows a clockwise or anticlockwise movement.
