3-phase rotation indicator with LCD display, P 2530

Three-phase motors and self-starting AC motors are driven by a rotating field in the three-phase circuit, which magnetically pulls the rotor of the motor round. The field can rotate clockwise or anticlockwise; swapping two outer conductors of the three-phase circuit reverses the direction of rotation. The P 2530 is a handy instrument that checks the phases of a three-phase motor and shows the current direction of rotation, so electric motors can be connected correctly in new installations and faults can be found in existing systems. Suitable for electrical installers and service technicians, e.g. for the maintenance of industrial plants or the installation of commercial kitchens.
