Digital loop impedance / PSC tester, P 2715

The P 2715 is a loop tester for checking the safety of electrical installations. It measures the impedance of the short-circuit loop between the outer conductors of a circuit and calculates the prospective short-circuit current from it. The circuit protection (miniature circuit breaker) must trip at a lower current than the expected short-circuit current, to avoid excessive heating of the cables and the resulting fire risk.

With its functions and robust design, the P 2715 is suited both to new installations and to general checks of electrical systems.
